“Qi Gong” as a stress management technique

Abstract
This study used the descriptive method of research. A total of 30 respondents were chosen using purposive sampling technique. A self-made questionnaire was developed to gather data on the respondents’ perception on Qi Gong as a stress management. Statistical treatments used to address specific problems and to test hypotheses in the study were mean, frequency, percentage, standard deviation and t-test of independent sample. After careful analysis of the gathered data, the researchers arrived at the following conclusions: (1) Majority of the respondents were female, adult, single and not employed; (2) Most of the respondents agreed that Qi Gong is a very good stress management technique; (3) There is no significant difference between male and female respondents in their perception of Qi Gong as a stress management techniques; (4) Differences in perception were not determined in terms of age, civil status and employment status of the respondents.
