Abstract
This study used the descriptive method of research. Ninety five percent (95%) of the total population of the third year students of the College of Medical Radiation Technology of school year 2005-2006 were the respondents. The respondents were selected using convenience sampling. The researchers used a self-made questionnaire as the data gathering instrument. Frequency, percentage, mean and t-test were used to statistically treat the data. From the findings, the following conclusions were drawn: (1) Most of the respondents were male; (2) The overall evaluation of the factors associated with the academic performance of the respondents namely, extra-curricular activities, school facilities, teacher-student relationship, attitude towards the subject, classmates and family, are very good; (3) There were no significant differences on extra-curricular activities, school facilities, teacher-student relationship and attitude towards the subject according to gender. On the other hand, there were significant differences on classmates and family support when grouped according to gender.
