Abstract
This study employed a descriptive design using a survey technique. A self-made questionnaire distributed to 26 patients at De La Salle University Medical Center - Doctor Isagani M. Darvin Rehabilitation chose simple quota sampling. A Tagalog questionnaire used for easy comprehension of the respondents. The data from the questionnaire tallied, tabulated, and analyzed. Data gathered and interpreted using percentage, mean, and t-test. Based on the results, the researchers concluded, (1) the results showed that 53.8% of the patients reside at 9kms. and above from the PT while 70% of patients travel using public vehicles or have to borrow a vehicle to get to the physical therapy unit. (2) This prompted the researchers to do a study on the problems encountered by such patients. (3) The most common reason in patient's non-compliance was the physical factor with the distance of the unit from home, as the major problem followed by transportation problem; (4) economic and psychological reasons did not turn out to be the problem.
