Abstract
This study employed a descriptive design using a survey technique. A self-made questionnaire distributed to 125 respondents chose from five (5) bodybuilding gyms around Cavite and Paranaque through simple quota sampling. The data gathered from the questionnaire tallied, tabulated, analyzed and interpreted using frequency percentage, mean, and t-test. Based on the results, the researchers concluded (1) most respondents were male, aged 15-25 years old. (2) The results indicated the five most common post-exercise problems, the bodybuilder beginner experienced general muscle soreness, low back pain, general body fatigue, dizziness, and elbow joint pain. (3) There were trends discovered about basic practices beginning bodybuilder, diligently following the weight trainers before starting the program given to them. (4) Bodybuilder mostly, trained 3-4 times per week with each body part trained 1-2 times per week and lasts for 1-2 hours. (5) All beginners do warm-up exercises but less than half for cool downs. (6) Use weightlifting belts and gloved for safety measures and train with a workout partner.
