Abstract

The study surveyed the most common musculoskeletal complaints among the 60 lifters from the delivery section of the Reynolds Aluminum Company, a 5.3 hectares land in San Agustin, Dasmariñas, Cavite. This study employed a descriptive design using a self-made questionnaire, translated in Tagalog as a guide for the interview to gather data, with a 50 qualified lifters respondents out of 60 employees. The gathered data interpreted using frequency percentage and mean. The pain was the highest complaint (70%), followed by weakness (14%) and numbness (12%). The three most common parts of the body identified, back (48%), shoulder (30%) and neck (22%). Based on the above findings, the researchers, therefore, concluded the most common musculoskeletal complaints of the lifters of the Reynolds Aluminum Company were back pain, followed by shoulder pain and neck pain.
