Abstract
This study was primarily undertaken to study the compliance of 10 government agencies in the province of Cavite to the employment provision of the Magna Carta for disabled Persons. The descriptive method of research was used to gather the data and information needed to answer the specific problems raised in the study. Ten respondents chosen through simple random sampling technique was used in coming up with the subjects. All data and information gathered through interviews were tallied, summarized and percentages were obtained. The result of the study showed that only one (1) out of the ten (10) government agencies has disabled employees. The study also revealed that there was no continuous hiring from 1992 to 1994 in the different provincial government agencies considering mainly the lack of vacant positions and the implementation of the Attrition Law which hinders any government agency from hiring new employees. Only 10% of the respondents were aware If the Magna Carta for disabled employees. The findings, therefore, behoove the government to improve the implementation of the Magna Carta and to campaign for it to be known not only by the government agencies but more importantly by the disabled persons
