Abstract
This study identified the 5 most common rehabilitative cases seen in San Jose General Hospital Rehabilitation Department from May 1997 to December 1998. It aims to provide information among the rehabilitation personnel of the said hospital as to planning for amore comprehensive patient management of the cases. This is a descriptive study making use of data from medical records of the patients in San Jose General Hospital-Rehabilitation Department. Using frequency distribution of the total number of patients, the 5 most common rehabilitative cases were identified. Results of the study showed that the most common cases were Cerebrovascular Accident of CVA, Osteoarthritis , Low back pain , Frozen Shoulder , and Fracture. As a results of the study, the researchers highly recommend that efforts be made through seminar and lectures by rehabilitation personnel of San Jose General Hospital-Rehabilitation Department to educate the community regarding the immediate preventive and curative rehabilitation of the identified clinic conditions.
