Abstract
The purpose of the study is to determine the common behavioral problems encountered by 3rd year and 4th year PT faculty during lectures, written examinations and practical examinations amongst students. The results of the study would serve as a guide to policymakers in providing necessary and activities that would improve oneself. Twenty DLSU PT faculties (3rd year and 4th year) participated in the study. Questionnaires were given to the respondents to determine the most common behavioral problems encountered. Results were analyzed using standard table. Separate tables were used to each "distribution". The behavioral problems frequently encountered by the third year and fourth year DLSU PT facutly during lectures, written examinations and practical examinations. Results showed that the common problems encountered by the 3rd year and 4th year PT faculty were the same. During lecture, the most common behavioral problems for the 3rd year were poor attention span and passive behavior, while in the 4th year it was only passive behavior's. Other behavioral problems encountered were tardiness, sleeping, noisy, lack of motivation, un-cooperativeness, disrespect, lack of enthusiasm and interest in the subject. During written examinations, the most common behavioral problems encountered by 3rd year and 4th year PT faculty were not following instructions and cheating. Other problems were tardiness, noisy, not in complete/proper uniform and not following announcement and corrections regarding examination. Suring practical examinations, the most frequently encountered behavioral problem by the 3rd year and 4th year PT faculty was frequent instructions, noisy, cheating, bargaining of grades disrespects and being too demanding. Based on the results, it merely that most of the behavior of the both 3rd year and 4th year students were similar. Because of this, we researchers, with due respect, like to recommend to the faculty staff that they should practice and be consistent in how they deliver proper humane strictness.
