Abstract

This study identified the 5 most common cases seen at Andres Bonifacio Memorial Hospital Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. It aims to provide information among the rehabilitation personnel of the hospital when planning for a curative, preventive and educational management of the cases. This is a descriptive study making use of data from medical records of the patients in Andres Bonifacio Memorial Hospital (ABMH). Using frequency distribution of the total number of patients in each case, the 5 most common cases were identified. Results of the study showed that the 5 most common cases were Cerebrovascular Accident, Fracture affecting mostly the male patients. Rotator Cuff Tendinitis, Osteoarthritis and Low Back Pain affecting mostly the female patients. As a results of the study, the authors recommend to the rehabilitation personnel of ABMH to conduct seminar/lectures or provide pamphlets that will educate the community regarding the immediate preventive and curative rehabilitation of te identified clinic conditions.
