Abstract
The results of PT Board Exam reflect its input of knowledge, skills and training of a school to its products. This study aimed to describe the strength of relationship between the academic performance of class '94 regular students of the College of PT, DLSU-HSC to the results of their board exam. From a total of 105 graduates of batch '94, only 98 subjects were included in the study based on the criteria set in the sample section. Records of these graduates were received and analyzed using the person correlation coefficient and T-test. Results showed that Academic Performance in Basic Sciences, MES and PT Application has a significant relationship to the results of PT Board Exam. The study also showed that in the three areas of PTBE, class '94 excel in both MES and PT application and performed poorly in Basic Sciences subjects. As a results of this study, the researchers highly recommend to give more emphasis on the performance of students during their 3rd and 4rt years especially in Basic Science subjects in order to have a better chance of passing the board exam. Through this, the College of PT may have a positive future to be one of few accredited PT schools in the Philippines.
