The three main Psychological factors affecting the complaince of patients in DLSUMC-DPMR are: The relief that the patients have from therapy (95.64%), 2. The patient's own determination, good quality service and concern for patient (78.26%), 3. The good patient-intern relationship in the center (69.575). While the three main Psychosocial factors affceting the compliance of patients at DRJPRNMRC Rehabilitation center are 1. Good patient-intern relationship in the center (77.27%), 2. The interns have concerns for their patient (68.18%), 3. Good quality of service (63.64%). Patient compliance has been affected by many factors, of which every patient has every reasons for complying, of which mostly in both centers, good patient relationship and improvements noted during course of therapy were the main factors which affected values obtained rather than family intervention. The authors recommend a through patient information gathering procedure and a brief information given to each patient regarding their status in therapy so that they would be knowledgeable to the time track of therapy and encourage more compliance.
