Abstract

This study presented the different studies that were done by the students of College of PT from 1900 to 2002. It determined the type of researchers according to the common topics, research design , method of data collection and presentatioon used, and the beneficiaries of these studies. This research aimed to help update the database of information to improve and encourage variety of research and advancement of previous studies. The study was composed of the thesis that was available in the school library of the college . a total of 391 researches were carefully studied. A checklist and criteria sheet was used to classify the different studies. the perception of students and faculty members regarding research making was also obtained through a survey questionnaire. 100 students that composed of 50 students from Batch 2002 and 50 students from Batch 2003 were randomly selected, and 7 research advisers regarding the determinants in nature and it will not determine the relationship between the common research topic and prevenance of that topic of the succeeding school years. The major conclusion of this stud include" (1) Thesis were consistently made by the students as a requirement for B.S PT and as part of the curriculum it respond to the mission of the school of providing a useful information through research activities; (2) Students were able to comply with the sound research procedures as to the type of research design, method of data collection and presentation.
