Abstract

The study was done to determine the satisfaction level of patients regarding quality of care of Physical Therapist as health care provider. The study also aims to determine 1. the profile of the respondents as to age , gender, type of patients, 2. the satisfaction level of patients regarding quality of care of PT in technical aspect of care specifically in assessment and treatment and in relationship aspect specifically in patient, being with the patient, responding to , doing for the patient and enabling others to practice self-care. To achieve the objectives of the study the respondents were asked to answer a questionnaire design by the researchers. Based on the gathered data the respondents age ranges from 20-60 years old and majority fall within the range of 51-60 years old. 21 of the respondents were males while 29 are females. 25% of the respondents are from charity and another 25% are from pay patients. Patients are highly satisfied regarding quality of care rendered by physical therapist as health care provider. Women who are older and charity patients are highly satisfied with their physical therapist as to relationship aspect of care while pay patients are highly satisfied with their Physical Therapist as to technical aspect of care.
