Abstract

Osteoporosis is a disease that affects the body and is more common in females. The conditions leads to low bone mass density therefore making the bone porous. the objective of the study was to determine the knowledge , attitude, and health practices that females hospital personnel do in the interest of the prevention of osteoporosis. A survey was used to answer the research question. A purposive sampling was used to obtain data. The results of the study revealed that the respondents were knowledgeable about the disease and that they have a positive out look to activities that will prevent the disease. In this study, only observing proper diet was commonly performed by the respondents.
