Abstract

This study focuses on the most common musculoskeletal complaint at the city hall of Trece Martires City, Cavite. According to the results of the study, it si believed that office workers from the said place have reported pain in various parts of the body due to the nature of the nature of their work. this study aims to determine the most common musculoskeletal complaint as well as the demographic data and occupational information of the workers. Subjects: The participants in this study consisted of randomly selected City Hall Department, each with conveniently selected sample population according to criteria set by the researchers. Methods: The researchers utilized a descriptive method of research design aiming to determine the most common musculoskeletal complaint among office workers at Trece Martires City Hall, Cavite. The subjects were conveniently selected according to the criteria set by the researchers. Survey questionnaires were presented to the subjects and results were tallied, tabulated and discussed for presentation. Results: According to the results of the study, the most common musculoskeletal complaint among office workers at the City Hall of Trece Martires City regardless of age and gender is low back pain followed by pain at the back of the neck. Conclusion: This study concludes that low back pain is the most common musculoskeletal complaint among office workers at the City Hall of Trece Martires City, Cavite followed by pain at the back of the neck.
