This is a descriptive study that determined the effectiveness of Pilates exercise among the practitioners in the management of low back disorders. A total of 29 respondents from Vivian Zapanta's Pilates Studio and Sevidal Ballet Studio in Makati and Peak Performance Dance & Fitness Center in Quezon City were included in the study. Results showed that Pilates is an effective exercise in the management of low back disorders based on the perception of the respondents. Most of the respondents are females come from the age group of 26-36, and this represents thirty seven point ninety three percent of the total population. Ninety percent of the respondents gain a balanced and symmetrical training that include both strengthening and stretching. Furthermore, the result of this study showed that Pilates is fifty eight point fifty two percent very highly, twenty four point fourteen percent highly effective, and seventeen point twenty five percent shows on effect as to pain reduction. Fifty three point three percent of the respondents do develops mind-body connection which is a method for concentration control and sixty percent had a perception that each movements comes from the center muscles that acts to stabilize the trunk for the limbs to execute more controlled and graceful movement. Seventy point three percent respondents of which answered that it is to highly effective as to improved of flexibility. Pilates can increase strength and flexibility, as well as muscular and postural symmetry, for their physician referred rehabilitation patients. IT provides total conditioning the exceeds standard callisthenic, isometric of isometric exercises. In terms of posture, eighty six point twenty one percent highly effective. In terms of improving the strength of the different muscle groups, seventy nine point thirty one percent answered that it is very highly effective, and twenty point sixty percent highly effective. In Disorder. Pilates Exercise is highly effective in the Management of the Low Back Disorder. Pilates has an effect in reducing pain, increasing flexibility, improving muscle strength and improve posture.
