Total of 44 Lasallian PT clinicians participated in the study. The researchers utilized a modified questionnaire adopted from the book of Jewell, Dianne v. (2008). The mean scores are computed and an arbitary scale was assigned to analyze the data gathered. Results of the study showed that generally, Lasallian Physical Therapists are perceived to be ready to great extent towards application of EBP. Specifically, the respondents are ready to a great to a great extent in terms of their personal attitudes towards use of, perceived benefits, and limitation of EBP, personal use and understanding of clinical practice guidelines, the extent in their use of articles, and availability of resources. The study also showed that the primary barrier that hinders the respondents to use Evidence-Based Practice into their clinical practice was lack of time followed by inability to apply research findings to individual patient with unique characteristics and lastly was perceived as lack of genralizability of the literature findings to patent population. Furthermore, result of the study also suggest that Lasallian PT's within the age group 21-26, females, year 2010 graduate, and have 2 to 3 years of working experience are ready to a great extent in EBP. The researchers then recommend that Lasallian physical therapist must be given enough time to apply revidence-based principles in their actual clinical practice.
