Abstract

The research design used in this study is the qualitative descriptive approach. The respondents comprise of BSPT 2019 interns and they were selected using purposive sampling. The researchers administered three distinct phases of Focus Group Discussions and Oneon- One Interviews to reach data saturation. Triangulation was also utilized to ensure that the information and data gathered are correct and that data transcription was done appropriately. Significant themes emerged from the results: inconsistencies in evaluation and examination, inconsistencies in intervention, inconsistencies in documentation, negative responses, positive responses, reconciliation, collegiate enhancement, improvement of clinical rotation, and student development. These results reveal that there are areas of dissonance present in the academic and clinical setting, and these are mainly encountered in the areas of patient management. hence, the dissonance found in physical therapy education is common.
