Abstract
This study is a Parallel Designed RCT. It was conducted in De La Salle Medical and health Sciences Institute. The study used purposive sampling technique. Thirty (30) active players from DLSMHSI without history of injury to their dominant leg were randomly allocated into three groups: PS (n=10), MFR (n=10), and Control Group (n=10). Interventions were executed by two physical therapies. 2D motion analysis was evaluated by a PT who has an in-depth knowledge in video conversion and result interpretation. Between-groups comparison was performed in this study. Results showed no significant difference between MFR and PS with a computed p-value of 0.296 at 0.05 level of significance. This result might indicate in considering other factors such as weakness of muscles. Also, ankle mobility is not only influenced by the gastrocnemius but the soleus length as well. Thus, result in not rejecting the null hypothesis.
