Abstract
The researchers did pure online data mining to gather the necessary information about the Magallanes' prevalence of COVID-19 in and its demographic and geographic data. Mapping of geographic data of Magallanes was done using Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS) and Google Earth Pro. Multiple regression analysis was done to relate the COVID-19 cases to population, different, age groups, land area and activity space. The result suggest that only the land area and activity space have a linear relationship to COVID-19 cases. It has been concluded that the land area has an inverse relationship while activity space has a direct relationship. However, upon the assessment of the information gathered online, it was concluded that the COVID-19 patient data in that was found from the Facebook page of the Mayor of Magallanes was insufficient to provide a well-grounded interpretation on how the demographic and geographic factors affect the number of COVID-19 cases.
