Abstract

This study employed a descriptive cross-sectional design where respondents answered through an online questionnaire constructed through Google forms. Using convenience sampling, there were 209 respondents participated in the study. Pearson chi-square and Spearman's rho were used for data analysis. The study concluded that the respondents showed relatively high acceptance of COVID-19 vaccines, moreover, the analysis revealed that 99 out of 209 of the respondents is in moderate agreement with regards to the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines. Furthermore, the findings revealed that individuals who strongly agreed that vaccinations protect against infectious illnesses in general were more likely to accept COVID-19 immunization than those who were unsure and those who did not recognize that vaccines give protection.
