Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the assessment of the blended learning environment of 71 Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology students in De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute during Academic Year 2022-2023. This study used descriptive quantitative research design. Data were gathered by adopting the DREEM questionnaire and treated using frequency, mean, standard deviation, independent sample ttest, and analysis of variance.

Majority of the respondents are female and are in a residential living arrangement. Most of the respondents are second-year students. The blended learning environment was considered as more positive than negative. The respondents have a more positive assessment of blended learning environment in terms of learning, atmosphere, and academic selfperceptions, and students’ social-self perceptions are seen as not too bad. The teachers are moving in the right direction in the blended learning environment. There are no significant differences in the assessment of the respondents on blended learning environment when they are grouped according to sex and living arrangement. On the other hand, the assessment of the blended learning environment significantly differs when respondents are grouped according to year level. Significant differences lie between (a) third year and first year students, and (b) second year and first year students. As the year level increases, the assessment scores of the blended learning environment decreases.
