Abstract
This study aims to specifically aimed at the following: 1. What is the average amount of sleep per day of the following selected nursing students? a. 2nd year nursing students b. 3rd year nursing students c. 4th year nursing students 2. What is the level of affectation were the following factors affect the amount of sleep of selected nursing students? a. Physiological b. Psychometrical c. Sociological 3. Is there a significant difference among the three factors affecting the sleeping pattern of selected nursing students? 4. Is there a significant difference in the perceived clinical performance of the nursing students in terms of physiological, psychoemotional and sociological factors? The study focused on 30 respondents coming from the 2nd year, 3rd year and 4th year nursing respondents on the factors affecting their sleeping pattern in relation to their clinical performance. Using the constructed questionnaire, they wound only get the perceived answer of the nursing students in relation to their clinical performance. The fourth year respondents, resulted that there was a significant difference in the perceived clinical performance in terms of the three factors. The second and third year respondents, resulted that there was no significant difference.
