Abstract
The researchers used the phenomenological approach for this stud. There are 11 respondents participated in the stud. All of them married and have children. The purposive types of sampling method. Patients’ responses regarding breast cancer usually depend on their status and role in life. Most of them experienced fear of dying, hopelessness, denial, anger and anxiety that was understood to be negative responses. But some patients accepted the fact they have breast cancer and was analyzed to be positive responses. These positive and negative responses perceived vary according to the level of their understanding and knowledge about breast cancer and the community where the belong. Thus, this experience brought them closer to God and made them realize the value of their existence and appreciate the rea; meaning of life.
