Abstract
This study utilized the non-experimental comparative design of research. The participants of the study comprised of fifty (50) school age children from upland Cavite. A validated survey questionnaire in the form of checklist was used in gathering the data and reference materials such as journals and books were used for the development of the questionnaire. The statistical treatment used in the study were frequency distribution, mean, t-test and f-test. The researchers drew up these conclusions: 1) Most of the school age children in upland and lowland Cavite were females, had fathers only who were employed, eldest children and with involvement of grandparents in child rearing; 2) The school age children between upland and lowland Cavite had excellent level of attitude regarding the care of the elderly; 3) The level of attitude of school age children between upland and lowland Cavite regarding the care of the elderly was excellent regardless of their gender, parental employment and involvement of grandparents in child rearing; 4) The ordinal position of school age children in upland and lowland Cavite affects their level of attitude regarding the care of the elderly.
