Adolescents who became pregnant out of wedlock are put into a very difficult situation. They, being in the stage wherein they are searching for their own identity, were unprepared to handle the responsibility of being a mother in the future and even fail to understand the physiological changes that they are undergoing. Aside from this, pregnancy, that happened to be planned, creates a conflict between adolescent women and their parents, upon knowing that premarital sex which in turn has resulted to unwanted pregnancy. This is very frustrating in the part of parents because their sets of expectations were not met.
