Abstract

This study was based on a descriptive correlational type of research method. The subjects of the study comprised 125 respondents, primarily by the 3rd year and 4th year nursing students at DLSU-HSC. The convenience non-probability sampling was used in this study. Data were gathered through questionnaire. Data were collected and subjected to the following statistical treatment: frequency distribution, mean, t-test on two samples, f-test. Pearson r. 1) Majority of the nursing students were 18-20 years old, female, Catholic, with a monthly family income of 20,000 -30,000 –above and belongs to a nuclear family; 2) Leading among the aspects of the level of family well-being is the spiritual aspect; 3) On the average nursing students have satisfactory level of performance in health related subject; 4) The level of family well-being of the nursing students had no significant difference when they are grouped according to age, sex, religion, family income and type of family; 5) The performance in health related subjects of the nursing students had no significant difference when they are grouped according to age, sex, religion, family income and type of family; 6) The level of family well-being is not related to the performance in health related subject of the nursing students in DLSU-HSC SY 2000-2001.
