Abstract
What is the profile of the respondents in terms of age, educational attainment, exposure to death, geographic origin and religious affiliation. What is the perception of the respondents regarding death? 3. What significant differences exist in the perception of death when the respondents are grouped according to age, educational attainment, exposure to death, geographic origin and religious affiliation. The study revealed that 29 (39%) belonged to the age bracket of 23-27 years old, 33 (44%) reached or finished high svhool level, 42 (56%) had an exposure to death, 41 (55%) were non-Manileno Resident and 62 (83%) were Catholic. On the average, the overall mean of the husband's perception is 2.99 that indicated undecided as a result in the five-point scale. This implies that the perception of the respondents on death is vague or still unclear. 3. It was also found out the overall perception of husbands of primigravid mothers and neonates does not differ when they are grouped according to age, educational background, exposure to death, geographic origin and religious affiliation.
