Abstract
To determine the beliefs and practices of the residents in selected barangays in Dasmariñas, Cavite regarding the use of herbal medicines as a treatment for common diseases. B. Specific 1. Find out the profile of the residents when grouped according to age, gender, religion, educational attainment and monthly family income. 2. Know the level of beliefs of residents in selected barangays in Dasmariñas, Cavite on the use of herbal medicines. 3. Know the level of practices of residents in selected barangays in Dasmariñas, Cavite on the use of herbal medicines. 4. Determine the significant differences in the level of beliefs when the respondents are grouped according to age, gender, religion, educational attainment and monthly family income. 5. Determine the significant differences in the level of practices when the respondents are grouped according to age, gender, religion, educational attainment and socio-economic status.
