Abstract
this study aims to determine the level of knowledge of community people on emergency management of burns, poisoning and vehicular accidents in selected communities in Bacoor, Cavite. B.Specific Specifically, this study sought to determine the following: a.To know the profile of the respondents when they are grouped according to age, gender, educational attainment, religious affiliation, monthly income and civil status; b.To determine the level of knowledge on emergency management of burns, poisoning and vehicular accidents in selected communities in Bacoor, Cavite; and c.To determine if there is a significant difference according to age, gender, educational attainment, religious affiliation, monthly income, an civil status. This study focused on level of knowledge of community people regarding the initial action on burns, poisoning and vehicular accidents. It will deal with first degree and second degree thermal burns, corrosive and non-corrosive type of poisoning and vehicular accidents. Each selected community in Bacoor, Cavite which includes Molino 1, Molino 3, Poblacion and Panapan had 40 representatives who will serve as the respondents of the study. The qualified respondents of the study were categorized into three: (a) 18-39 years old (b) 40-64 years old (c) 65years old and above
