Abstract
This study determines the level of knowledge of the selected people in Barangay Halang Naic, Cavite regarding the use of Moringa oleifera (Malunggay) in treatment of wounds. B.Specific 1.To determine the profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender, socioeconomic status and educational attainment. 2.To determine the level of knowledge of the respondents regarding the use of Moringa oleifera in the treatment of wounds. 3.To determine if there are any significant difference in the level of knowledge of the respondents when grouped according to age, gender, socioeconomic status and educational attainment. This study was conducted at Barangay Halang Naic, Cavite where the researchers were students of College of Nursing and Midwifery. The study was limited to the evaluation of the level of knowledge of the 100 randomly selected people of the community regarding the use of Moringa oleifera (Malunggay) in the treatment of wounds. The researchers utilized a descriptive non-experimental research design to determine the level of knowledge regarding the use of Moringa oleifera (Malunggay) in the treatment of wounds. The inclusion criteria are the following: residents of Barangay Halang, regardless of their age, gender, social status and educational attainment, able to comprehend and converse in English and/or Filipino and is very much willing to participate in the research process.
