Abstract
This study aims to determine the knowledge and practices of the mothers with regards to food preparation and food selection in Malagasang II-F Imus, Cavite. B. Specific To determine the profile of the mothers in terms of age, educational attainment and socioeconomic status; 1.To determine the probable significant differences between the knowledge and practices of mothers regarding food preparation and food selection when they are grouped according to the age, educational attainment and socioeconomic status; and 2.To determine the probable significant relationship between the knowledge and practices of mothers regarding food selection and food preparation. This research focused on the knowledge and practices of mothers aged 20-50 years old with children within the age bracket of 3-6 years old, and are able to read and write. This includes the following variables: age, educational attainment, and socioeconomic status.
