Abstract
This study aims o determine the perception of patients on the quality of care rendered by the student nurse in the service ward obstetric ward, medical ward, and surgical ward, excluding pediatric wards in selected hospitals in Cavite. B. Specific 1. To determine the profile of the respondents in selected hospitals in Cavite when they are grouped according to age, gender, socio-economic status, length of hospitalization and religion. 2. To determine the perception of the respondents on the quality of care rendered by the student nurses in selected hospitals in Cavite; and 3. To determine the significant differences in the perceptions of patient on the quality of care rendered by student nurses when they are grouped according to age, gender, socio-economic status, length of hospitalization and religion. The study was conducted in the obstetric ward, medical ward, and surgical ward, excluding pediatric wards in selected hospitals in Cavite namely; Cavite Naval Hospital and Cavite City Hospital. The respondents of the study were 100 clients.
