Abstract

This study aims  to determine the perception of patients confined at De La Salle University Medical Center on student nurse-patient therapeutic communication. To determine: 1.The profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender, religion, educational attainment, monthly income, civil status, and duration of hospitalization. 2.The perception of patients on the verbal communication skills of student-nurses of De La Salle - Health Sciences Campus. 3.The perception of patients on the non-verbal communication skills of student-nurses of De La Salle- Health Sciences Campus. 4.If there is a significant difference in the perception patients confined at De La Salle University Medical Center on student nurse-patient communication when grouped according to age, religion, educational attainment, family income, civil status, and duration of hospitalization.
