The tool used in this study was self-made by the researchers and was validated by three (3) professors from the College of Nursing and School of Midwifery of De La Salle Health Sciences Institute and one nutritionist. Frequency, percentage distribution, weighted mean and F-test were used as the statistical treatment in this study. The study concluded that; 1) Most of the respondents were 23-30 years old, married, Catholic, high school graduates, unemployed and with a monthly income of Php 5,000 and below. Mostly are on 4-6 months and 7-9 month age of gestation and has 1-3 pregnancies; 2) Pregnant women were taking nutritious foods infrequently. There are certain factors that limit the consumption of health foods like monthly income. If the monthly income is low, the nutritional status cannot be supported well. They cannot afford to buy food necessary for their pregnancy. Same with the dietary supplement, monthly income is also a factor which affects their intake; 3) There were significant differences in the nutritional practices of pregnant women when grouped according to civil status and monthly income. However, there were no significant differences on the nutritional practices of pregnant women when grouped according to age, religion, educational attainment, employment status, age of gestation and number of pregnancy.
