Abstract

The researchers used a non-experimental descriptive type of research. Using the purposive sampling, a total of 100 patients were the respondents of this study. The instrument used was an adapted-modified questionnaire. The data gathered was subjected to statistical treatments such as: mean, percentage, t-test and f-test. Based from the findings of the study, the researcher had drawn the following conclusions: 1) Most of the patients of the study were female, Catholic, married, had reached college level and had been hospitalized for two to six days; 2) The overall average indicated that patients of De La Salle University Medical Center have high perception regarding the carative behavior of students of Bachelor of Science in Nursing batch 2010 of De La Salle Health Sciences Institute; 3) The gender, religion, civil status, educational attainment and duration of hospitalization had no significant difference on the carative behaviors of students of Bachelor of Science in Nursing batch 2010 of De La Salle Health Sciences Institute as perceived by patients of De La Salle University Medical Center.
