Abstract

The study utilized the descriptive method of research. Using convenience sampling, the study utilized 100 respondents for the study. A simple questionnaire for the actual data gathering was formulated by the researchers. Data was analyzed through frequency distribution, mean, t-test and f-test. The following conclusions were drawn based on the findings of the study: 1) Majority of the selected students of DLSU-Dasmarinas came from nuclear families, Catholic, and had family income of P40,001 and above. There was almost equal number of male and female respondents, and were almost equally distributed to the different colleges of DLSU-Dasmarinas; 2) The selected students of DLSU-Dasmarinas had poor perception on bringing their parents to the institution for the older person; 3) When grouped according to gender, family structure, religious affiliation and economic status, all respondents had poor perception on bringing their parents to the institution for the older person. All the college affiliates had poor perception on bringing parents to the institution for the older person except for the College of Liberal Arts which had a fair perception.
