Abstract
This study utilized the quasi-experimental design. Using purposive sampling technique, 15 male and female respondents whose age ranges from 40 to 70 years old and diagnosed with a non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus were selected. A Hemo-Gluco test (Hgt) was conducted to monitor clients. Data was analyzed through mean, f-test or One-Way ANOVA and Duncan’s Multiple Range Test. The study concluded there is a significant difference in the blood sugar level of non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus clients when the ampalaya leaves decoction was taken before breakfast, with controlled breakfast (sugar free) and with regular breakfast
