Abstract
The study utilized the descriptive method of research. The subject of the study consisting of 50 respondents in the community of Area-G, which is located in Bagongbayan, Dasmariñas, Cavite, was chosen using quota sampling method. The question method was used to determine the factors that affect the incidence of diarrhea in DBB-G, Cavite. The percentage was used for data analysis. This study showed that 1) respondents differed in their understanding about diarrhea regarding its cause and prevention, thus accepting the first hypothesis and 2) the respondents believed that socio-economic factors, education and environment significantly affect the incidence of diarrhea, accepting the second hypothesis.
