Abstract

The researchers utilized the non-experimental, descriptive analytical research for the study. One-hundred sixty-seven respondents voluntarily answered the questionnaire. Cluster sampling was used in the selection of participants. A self-made questionnaire was used, which is made of two parts: the profile of the respondents and the knowledge in sexual health education specifically in cognitive, emotional, physical, social and life skills. Data was analyzed through frequency distribution, percentage and Chi-squared. Based on the foregoing findings, the following conclusions are drawn: 1) The majority of the respondents are female and chose peers as their source of information; 2) The Grade 12 students in a selected non-sectarian school in the City of Dasmarinas, Cavite have an average knowledge on sexual health education; 3) There is no significant difference in the knowledge about sexual health education among the Grade 12 students of the selected senior high school in the City of Dasmarinas, Cavite when grouped according to sex and source of information.
