Abstract

This study utilized a descriptive quantitative method with self-made and validated questionnaires, which were divided into two parts, and it is based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) by Venkatesh (2003). The total recruited respondents were 96 using purposive and snowball sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The main statistical treatments used were one-way ANOVA and Tukey Post-Hoc analysis. From the findings of the study, the following conclusions were drawn: Majority of the respondents who are female nurses perceived that telehealth as a tool is more challenging yet provided a very high opportunity as they provide care for older adults in terms of dignity, privacy, and independence. Perceptions were consistent across gender and telehealth provider type, except for age (Generation X and Y).
