Comments

The study used a quantitative descriptive research design. The research instrument has two parts: Screening Tool for Separation Anxiety and Questionnaires. These were answered by carers and the data underwent statistical treatment. The conclusions drawn from this study are: 1. Most carers are aged between 21-35, female, have attained college level, and are parents. 2. Children may attend school with their carers perceiving that separation anxiety has a low impact on the child’s wellbeing as they transition to a limited face-to-face learning modality. 3. Age and sex are not substantial indicators of the carers’ perception on the impact of separation anxiety to the preschool-aged children’s wellbeing, while educational attainment and relationship with the child are substantial indicators of carers’ perception on the impact of separation anxiety to the preschool-aged children’s wellbeing.
