Abstract
The study utilized a descriptive quantitative research design with a research instrument that is an adapted, modified questionnaire that was based on the four concepts of Roy's Adaptation Model namely person, health, environment and nursing. Purposive sampling was used to determine the respondents of the study which composed of 284 second year students who are enrolled in the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute AY 2019-2020. Significant difference in the perception of the student's adaptation when grouped according to their academic track in senior high school was determined by Analysis of Variance or ANOVA test accompanied by frequency, percentage and t-test. The study concluded that, 1) Majority of the respondents are female, STEM Academic Track Graduate, from BS Pharmacy and whose source of motivation is self-choice, 2) The respondents perceived to a moderate degree the effects of senior high school academic track on students' adaptation on health allied courses, 3) the respondents' sex and courses are not determining factors in the respondents' perception on senior high school academic track on students' adaptation on health allied course.
