Abstract
This study utilized an analytical research design. A total of 184 students from De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute BSN Batch 2024 A.Y. 2020-2021 participated in this study and cluster sampling method was used to select the participants for this study. As for the research instrument, the researchers utilized a self-made questionnaire that was validated by three 93) tool validators. The researchers subjected the data to statistical treatments such as mean, Mann-Whitney test and Kruskal-Wallis test. The study concluded that, 1) Majority of respondents are females, introverts, and classified in the upper middle class, 2) the respondents have a positive perception on the effects of prolonged screen time on their physical and emotional well-being, 3) The respondents have the same perception on the effects of prolonged screen time on their physical and emotional well-being when they are grouped according to sex, socioeconomic status, and personality.
