For the statistical treatment, frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and ANOVA were used.

MAJOR FINDINGS: From the data gathered the following findings were: 1. In terms of age, out of 398 respondents, 68.34% belong to the age range of 18 to 31 years old, 16.33% belong to the age range 32 to 35 years old, and 15.33% belong to the age range of 46 to 60 years old. In terms of gender, 67% were female and 33% of the respondents were male. In terms of their place of residence, 57% were residing in Cavite, 22% were living in Batangas, and 21% were from Laguna. The overall mean score for the knowledge of the respondents is 21.02 out of 25. This was interpreted as excellent knowledge. 3. For the overall practices, the mean score of the respondents is 23.74 which was interpreted as very highly practiced. 4. Upon analysis of the relationship of knowledge and practices, it was found that there is a significant relationship between the two variables, however, the strength of the relationship is insignificant. 5. Significant differences in knowledge and practices when grouped according to demographic profile was observed. There exists a difference in knowledge according to the respondents' income resulting in respondents earning P21,915 to P219,140 having the highest level of knowledge.
