Abstract

This study utilized a non-experimental, quantitative, descriptive research design. A purposive sampling method was employed. The respondents were 215 nursing students of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year nursing students regardless of their age, sex, and year level. The researchers utilized a modified adapted questionnaire form the study of O'Malley & McCraw (1999) as their research instrument. Data was analyzed through frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test/ANOVA. The study concluded that, 1) Majority of the respondents are: (a) 21-23) years old, (b) female, (c) 2nd year nursing students, and (d) prefer both asynchronous and synchronous as their current virtual learning methods, 3) There are no significant difference/s on the impact of virtual learning on the knowledge and clinical skills of DLSMHSI nursing students when they are grouped according to age, sex, year level and learning methods.
