Abstract
The study utilized a non- experimental type of research design. A purposive sampling wherein the subject will be chosen by chance will be utilized. Close ended checklist type of questionnaire will be the main tool for gathering the data needed supplemented by interview. This study will apply the percentage method. Based on the studies made, the researcher can therefore conclude that hypothesis I was accepted since the respondents perceived that acupressure relieves pain easily in a natural manner. Hypothesis II was also accepted since one of the advantages perceived by the respondents is that it relaxes the bod. Hypothesis III was also accepted since the other respondents perceived that it has no disadvantage. Hypothesis IV was rejected since the significant factors affecting the healing process of pain through acupressure are the diet, age, severity of pain, types of sickness and extent of the damaged organ.
