Abstract

The main objective of this study is to determine the effects in the personality of selected BSN IV students class 1992 in relation to the type of fathers they have. Through this, the researchers have to find out which among the four types of father. (Overly Protective, Indulgent Permissive, Authoritative, Neglectful) the selected BSN IV students class 1992 have. Secondly, is to find out if there is a significant relationship as shown in the behavior of the students depending on the type of father they have. A questionnaire was developed as an instrument to find out the answers needed. 20 students from the fourth year level cooperated. As a result, among the 4 types of father presented, Overly Protective, Indulgent Permissive, Authoritative, Neglectful, the most common is the Overly-Protective one. There is a significant relationship on the behaviors of the respondents and the type of father under Over Protective and Indulgent Permissive ones. In return, there is no significant relationship on the behaviors of the respondents and the type of father under Neglectful and Authoritative ones.
