Abstract

This study employed the descriptive survey research design. The researchers used the OpenEpi program in order to determine the sample size for the total population and purposive sampling was used in order to have a fair distribution of the sample. There were 57 respondents were chosen in the study. The questionnaire was designed to give emphasis on the virtual consultation that was evident during the COVID-19 pandemic. Data was analyzed through frequency and percentage. The study concluded that the use of virtual and digital platforms in patient consultation and diagnosis during the COVID-19 pandemic was really problematic for the consultants for most of them have encountered problems in using the platforms mostly due to poor internet connection and program incompatibility. Despite this, the consultants, were somehow satisfied in using such but is highly suggested to have improvements. In addition to his, once the pandemic is over, they are still undecided whether to still utilize the platform or revert to fact-to-face diagnosis and consultation.
