Abstract
This study used the cross-sectional method of research. Purposive quota sampling method was utilized to choose 373 respondents from Brgy. San Jose, Dasmarinas, Cavite aged 18 to 65 years. A modified and adapted questionnaire translated in Filipino served as the survey instrument. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent T-test, one way ANOVA, and chisquare test were the statistical measures applied. The following conclusions were drawn: 1) Most of the respondents were 26-33 years old, female, graduated college, unemployed and have a monthly income of less than 20,000 pesos; 2) Majority of the residents were very knowledgeable about routine blood testing; 3) There was a significant difference in the attitude of the residents towards routine blood testing in terms of age, sex, educational attainment, occupation, and income.
